Now a days every Audio CD is coming with copy protection. Due to this we can not copy the audio songs to our PC. If we try to copy the audio files only short cuts are copied to yours PC. So there is no use with short cuts. CDex is a good open source program which is helpful to rip audio files into WAV, MP3 and Ogg format.
